I Have The Flu
I have the flu, with a temperature of about 102. I am feeling very sick, with full out shaking, lightheadedness and a have and a bad cough. The doctor has given me Tamiflu. I am in bed most of the day, it makes me feel worse just to sit up. So needless to say I will not be posting or visiting until I am better. Happy blogging!

Crooked Moose Houses
“There's nothing to match curling up
with a good book when there's a repair job to be done around the house.” ~Joe Ryan
Last year we were on a short trip, and we passed something very strange looking. In fact, so strange that I told Phil we just had to turn around and investigate. And this is what we saw as we turned off the highway and drove down the side street. A small neighborhood of tiny crooked houses for huge leafy moose to live in!!! The blue house was made to look like a ship. I think I have never come across something as strange as this, and was so glad to have my camera!!
“Build houses
and make yourselves at home.“Put in gardens and eat what grows in that country.”

Many Images, One Moon
There is
something haunting in the light of the moon; it has all the dispassionateness
of a disembodied soul, and something of its inconceivable mystery.
~Joseph Conrad
Tonight is the full moon, namely the Full Snow Moon. And of course the name is because of the snow we usually get in this month. I went out and waited for it to rise, and all these pictures were taken within a half hour! Hard to believe the moon can show us such different faces in such a short time. The black streaks are clouds in front of the moon, it was very cloudy today. Speaking of snow, we are to get sleet, ice, snow and rain in a few hours! School will likely be cancelled and Ella will be here, so I will be taking the day off of the computer to be with her. See you on Wednesday!
“No one can mistake that voice— His word thundering so
wondrously, his mighty acts staggering our understanding. He orders the snow, ‘Blanket the earth!’ and the
rain, ‘Soak the whole countryside!’ No one can escape the weather—it’s there.
And no one can escape from God.”
Job 37
